About Our Club The Ohio Valley Region (OVR) is a regional chapter of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) . We are Ohio’s home for every motorsports enthusiast. Whether you are into timed precision driving, wheel-to-wheel hardcore racing, or even participating in track side assistance, administration, or creative opportunities, OVR offers the best outlet to satisfy your Need for Speed! As an SCCA sanctioned member-driven organization for motorsport enthusiasts, OVR organizes autocross events, road races, rallies, and performance driving events . How to get started The world of motorsports is growing an incredible rate.The SCCA has been a starting point for drivers like Mario and Michael Andretti, Bobby Rahal, Sarah Fisher, and Paul Newman to propel into careers with NASCAR and Indy Cars, and you could be the next great driver. Getting started is easy, and OVR is here to help. We’ll give you the information needed to identify how you can fulfill your need for speed. You will gain a full understating of what the different events are and how you can participate regardless of your experience level. OVR also organizes meetings, or “socializers”, where you can talk with current members about their experiences in autocross, road racing, or even working at the different events. Socializers are a great way to immerse yourself into a welcoming community of friendly motorsport fanatics, and our people are always willing to help you with any questions you might have.
